Wearing cute headbands and helping children with cancer– what is better than that? I’ve partnered with Headbands of Hope to spread awareness for their wonderful company and mission.
Headbands of Hope is a company that makes headbands and other accessories, and then donates a headband to a child with cancer for each item purchased. Jessica Ekstrom founded the company after interning at a wish-granting organization and seeing that girls loved to wear headbands after chemotherapy treatments.
“SINCE APRIL 2012, HEADBANDS OF HOPE HAS DONATED HEADBANDS TO EVERY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL IN THE UNITED STATES. WE BELIEVE FASHION CAN BE THE GREATEST VEHICLE TO A POSITIVE SELF-IDENTITY.”
This company is so great and I love how they help children struggling with cancer. The headbands can really make a child’s day and help to brighten up their week while stuck in the hospital. (They even make accessories for boys now!)
There have several designs you can pick from, and I got the peach sheer twist which is perfect for a casual day of errands or going to the gym!
